Gourd Art is indeed Kathryn's passion.  She loves to find new art ideas traveling.  Her interest in gourds started after receiving a functional calabash drinking vessel from a friendly Maasai African native.

Gourds are an extension of mother nature:  a natural work of art, ready to be embellished and transformed into a keepsake.

Kathryn is a New England native but has lived in New Mexico since 1988.  She is also an active watercolor artist and has published a cookbook which is entirely illustrated with her paintings.
