Art has always been a definite in my life. In college I found that design was where my talents lie. After moving all over the world with my husband for 30 years, we settled in New Mexico.
Finding a class in “Cleaning Gourds” now that sounded interesting! I was HOOKED! I found that everything I have learned art wise, I can put on a Gourd. I have carved for about 25 years and enjoy using this media to make my gourds unique and interesting.
What makes me happy is finding someone who enjoys looking at my art as much as I enjoyed designing it. Life is pretty good when you can do what you love to do every day and share that love with others.
